Our History

The story of Anatolia Kilim

It all began in Cappadocia, in the heart of Anatolia, the ancient cradle of the art of kilim. It was there that Enbiya, passionate about these ancestral weavings, grew up surrounded by the colours and patterns that tell the story of his people.

30 years of expertise and passion

For more than three decades, Enbiya CIGDEM, originally from Cappadocia (Turkey), has been travelling around his country in search of exceptional pieces .

Her expert eye instantly recognizes the quality of a weave, the authenticity of natural dyes, and the symbolic richness of the patterns.

Each kilim in our collection is selected with the same care a collector would use to choose a work of art. Because that's precisely what they are: these rugs are not mere decorative objects, but living testaments to a craft passed down through generations.

From Anatolia to Paris
