The selection of kilims

For over 30 years, Enbiya, originally from Cappadocia, has been immersed in the world of kilims and Oriental rugs. His selection is built on an in-depth knowledge of local markets, production regions, and styles.

Method

A selection built on expertise

Sourcing is carried out with specialist wholesalers on the ground, recognised for their seriousness and high standards. This approach provides access to a wide range of authentic pieces, ensures clear traceability of origins, and maintains stylistic and qualitative consistency. Each kilim is chosen individually, according to precise criteria, before joining the collection.

The collection

Antique kilims and contemporary kilims

Antique Anatolian kilims

Woven in the 20th century, from the 1950s to the 1970s

These kilims come exclusively from the great regions of Anatolia. They bear witness to traditional craftsmanship, ancestral techniques, and a strong regional identity.

Contemporary Afghan kilims

Woven today using traditional techniques

Made using traditional techniques, with a more contemporary approach to formats and colour palettes. For those who want a new kilim while preserving the spirit and authenticity of kilim art.

Transparency

From selection to your interior

Once selected, each kilim is cleaned, precisely measured, faithfully photographed, and transparently documented. Each product listing indicates the origin, estimated age, exact dimensions, and recommended use.

Our goal is simple: to allow you to choose a kilim with complete confidence, knowing its history, provenance, and character.

Regions

The great regions of antique kilims

Each antique kilim we offer is deeply connected to its region of origin. From south-eastern Anatolia to the Aegean coast, through the central plateaus and the borders of the Caucasus, each territory has developed a singular textile language — colours, patterns, a way of weaving that belongs to it alone.

Discover the weaving regions

A kilim is not a simple rug. It is a decorative, cultural, and living object, designed to last and become part of everyday life. Each piece is chosen for what it is: unique, authentic, full of history, and deeply rooted in its territory.
