Adana, South-Eastern Anatolia, 60 years old. Within its 110 x 90 cm (3'7" × 2'11"), this kilim lets the sand ground breathe. The black bands crossing it horizontally lay down a calm structure, and the small brick red and ochre geometric motifs that slip between them bring just enough life.
