Seen from above, it is an Anatolian plain at the moment when everything blooms. Fields of orange, pink, sage and soft grey stretch as far as the eye can see, separated by thin furrows that undulate like streams.

Then the eye draws closer, and the landscape begins to speak. In each plot, small diamonds, flowers and chevrons, laid thread by thread into the Cicim weave like so many signs left for those who approach. An entire plain, held within a single weaving.
