Adana, South-Eastern Anatolia, 65 years old. Within its 298 x 70 cm (9'9" × 2'4"), this runner unfolds three large sand-coloured diamond medallions on a red ground that does not waver.

At their heart, lavender blue and pink stars appear like a surprise, a softness hidden within all that strength. The black hooks running between each medallion give the whole a dark and precise rhythm, like a punctuation that holds everything together.
