328 x 202 cm (10'9" × 6'7"). A kilim of this size is rare. Woven in Adana, in South-Eastern Anatolia, some 65 years ago, it has the generosity of great pieces and the restraint of great characters.
Its rosy red field, almost plain, lets a few small diamond medallions breathe, arranged with a discretion that commands attention. And all around, a dense and flowering black border that holds the whole together like a case.
