Antalya, Mediterranean coast, 60 years old. Within its 116 x 76 cm (3'10" × 2'6"), this kilim concentrates an energy that larger formats do not always possess. Its interlocking orange, red and violet diamonds are crossed by S-shaped hooks in cream white of a remarkable precision.
This white is cotton, the only thread that crosses the decades with its radiance intact, as bright as on the first day, bringing to the entire composition a freshness that wool alone does not know how to give.
