Aydin, in the fertile plain of Western Anatolia, 60 years old. Within its 208 x 163 cm (6'10" × 5'4"), this kilim plays a score one does not often hear. Olive green and vivid red face one another in large medallions organised in panels, with an intensity that the cobalt blue running through the whole amplifies still further.
A kilim that imposes itself without asking permission.
