Cal, western Anatolia, 70 years of life. Within its 263 x 135 cm (8'8" × 4'5"), this kilim organises itself like a village seen from above, each panel having its own character, its own breath, and yet all connected by a red border that runs all the way around like a path that always leads back to the same place.
Orange and ochre warm the whole, and blue, rare, unexpected, appears here and there like a window opened onto something else.
