Hand-woven Anatolian hemp, assembled into 180 x 120 cm (5'11" × 3'11") from fragments that once served as wall hangings or floor divans. A dense and natural material, known for retaining coolness, that ages with a dignity few materials can match.
Across this almost immaculate ivory white, silence dominates. A few black stripes surface here and there, a small geometric cross standing alone in its panel, a barely visible cursive sign. The rest is empty, to let the material speak.
