Within these 290 x 190 cm (9'6" × 6'3") woven some 55 years ago, the Kazak tradition sets down its medallions and stars with a serenity one would not have expected to find in a piece of this size.

This is a kilim for those who know how to look slowly. Who understand that sophistication has no need to announce itself, and that a natural wool aged in these tones tells more than any rug that tries too hard.
