343 x 72 cm (11'3" × 2'4"). Woven in Komurgen, in Western Anatolia, some 65 years ago on a narrow nomadic loom, this runner carries within it the memory of long journeys. Its two panels sewn together present those slight variations in tone that only vegetable dyes produce, imperceptible from a distance, visible up close, and which give the surface a life that no industrial kilim will ever be able to imitate.
Across its deep red ground, the large cream medallions follow one another along the full length with a quiet nobility.
