This Sivas kilim repeats, column after column, the same cross motif edged with bordeaux hooks, like a continuous embroidery that never stops across its 98 x 58 cm (3'3" × 1'11"). Around each cross, olive green, ochre and pink diamonds layer in gradation, creating an effect of mosaic almost textile within the textile, woven some 65 years ago.
