Yesilova, Burdur region, south-western Anatolia. Woven some 65 years ago, this 300 x 180 cm (9'10" × 5'11") kilim unfolds its star medallions with an almost spellbinding regularity.
Ivory, brick red, blue-grey and khaki answer one another on a ground of warm and muted tones, like a conversation that has been going on for a long time and that one has no wish to interrupt.
