Before becoming what you see, it was a bag. A nomadic cuval woven some 65 years ago, carried, loaded, then opened to give it a second life within these 122 x 50 cm (4'0" × 1'8") that still carry, in every thread, the memory of both existences.
The two faces of the bag are there, side by side, separated by a central cream line, one in aged terracotta and bordeaux tones, the other in a more luminous ochre yellow, as though time had treated each face differently. The arabesque and white hook motifs that run across them are of a density and precision that belong only to pieces woven to last, not to be sold.
