This kilim was born twice. First a nomad's bag, woven at the heart of Anatolia some 60 years ago, made to be loaded and carried. Then opened, cut, transformed into a kilim. Its 130 x 68 cm (4'3" × 2'3") reveal today an unexpected palette where lavender and peach mingle with rust, colours no one had planned to show, and all the more beautiful for it.
What the nomads carried to live, we lay down today to dwell.
