Yozgat, Anatolian plateau, 65 years old. Within its 130 x 95 cm (4'3" × 3'1"), this kilim has the generosity of those who kept nothing for themselves. A pink arch rises softly over a red field, scattered with small flowers that seem to have grown there naturally, while the midnight blue border that frames it brings forth in turn a whole constellation of motifs in orange, yellow and khaki green.
